It’s simple. Sign up for an XR Guru account on the web portal. After signing up, you will receive an email with password that can be used for future login.

By registering to XR Guru, you will automatically have access to all the available educational modules and packages on a complimentary basis. You will access educational modules through XR Guru application, and it is available on the App Store, Google Play, Oculus store, or SideQuest.

The Institution subscription is available for high schools, middle schools, colleges, classrooms, departments, and any education institutions. Any group with five or more users/learners should register for the Institution subscription. Individual users or groups less than five should visit our Individual subscription packages.

All Institution subscriptions are assigned an Admin User. When registering for a subscription, tell us who you want to be your Admin User. We will create the institution account at the back end and provide your Admin User with login credentials. From there, the Admin User will be able to add and delete Teacher Users. The Admin User will also have access to the entire number of licenses that comes with you Institution Subscription. The Admin User can assign licenses to Teacher Users at their discretion.

Teacher Users are created by the Admin User. Once created, Teacher Users can create courses and decide what learning modules they want in each course. They can invite Student Users to join one or more courses. To invite a Student User, simply copy/paste the course code into an email inviting the student to register at XRGuru.com. The student will be prompted to enter the course code when registering for an account. Each course can offer the Student User different content based on course level and curriculum.

Teacher Users can also create additional content and include it in a course. Student Users can only access courses they are invited to by a Teacher User. Once the Student Users has access to a course, the student can experience the course content on any compatible device. Student activity is tracked in the system and the Teacher User can view Student User activity.

Typically, curriculum directors or department chairs are the Admin User. However, the Admin User can be anyone in the institution who wants to manage the licenses and the teacher access. Just let us know who the Admin User is upon registration. And you can change the Admin User with the appropriate permission.

Yes. If you have a classroom or a group of students five or more, you can register for an Institution Subscription. If you want full access to the Institution Account, we will identify you as the Admin User, and you can create yourself as a Teacher User as well.

From your compatible device, visit the AppStore, Google Play, or Oculus Store and install XR Guru. Once installed, you can login using your username and password. Then you can experience the content.

If your institution requires your IT department to install apps to institution-owned devices, please request a full install of XR Guru. Upon request, we will work with your IT department to ensure flawless deployment to teachers and learners.

Institution Subscription licenses are based on how many users will need access to the content. If you have three teachers with 45 students each semester who will access the content (3 x 45 x 2), then you will need 270 licenses.
